soundtrack is packaged as a special
edition double disc CD / DVD box with
the movie!

The music was produced by
Toby in New York City and features a
21-piece orchestra. Director Mark
Whiting's short film won BEST PICTURE
at the 7th annual Los Angeles
International Short Film Festival.

Apple Jack features the voice of
Orson Wells, narration by country
music legend Randy Travis,
and twin brother child stars Cole
and Dylan Sprouse starring as Jack.

Toby and Jessie Evans Blitz in France !

What's that? Toby Dammit and Jessie Evans can't seem to get enough of France! So onward they drive across France up and down East and West - rain and volcanoes cannot stop them. Latest report calculates 5000 kilometers in June ! No matter where you may be in France, you should have the opportunity to catch them onstage this year.

They will be returning to France again this month for yet another show in Paris > this time at La Plage de Glazart, where they will be appearing with Firewater. Don't miss that, as the concert will be recorded live for Telerama France. Come on down and help them make some noise! Then on south to La Plage de Glazart (near La Rochelle!) for the Festival La Deferlante! Hopefully time for a quick Atlantic swim before flying to Denmark!

Hopefully you caught them onstage at L'Olympia in Paris before Iggy and the Stooges on July 7th! The sold out concert was a hot blast, but well worth the sweat! The new Stooges Raw Power show is something to behold!

Prior to their recent tour in France Toby and Jessie appeared before The Gossip in Deutschland in both Berlin and Hamburg. An increbilbe attendance of 10,000 in Berlin left everyone exhausted! WOW !

Toby on the road with depedro from Madrid, Spain. OLE' !

In January our little Toby began working with an amazing singer from Madrid named Jairo Zavala and his band Depedro. Zavala brought Toby on the tour with not one single rehearsal, but they kicked it off fresh and raw in Cannes, France at the Midem Festival watching each other very closely! The tour rolled on through the snow to Innsbruck, Austria. Then zig-zagging their way like a lost herd of castanet clacking snow dogs galloping across the alps back and forth through Switzerland and Germany as many times as possible in a thirteen date tour!

The tour was a surprising success and they continued on down to Spain. At last a glimpse of sunshine and tapas! A big hometown welcome was waiting in Madrid and another snowy drive across Spain to Bilbao for an amazing final night at the Kafe Antzokia. Ole'

Toby to perform with stephan eicher in zermatt, switzerland !

That's right ! Toby will be climbing up the mountain... a REALLY BIG ONE for this gig. At the foot of the Matterhorn itself, Toby will be setting up to play a single acoustic concert with Stephan Eicher. As we post, to our knowledge this is the only scheduled live Stephan Eicher concert of 2010, so it's up you to come join them high in the mountains for what promises to be a very special event on April 16th. Bring your hiking boots! At a cool 2,400 meters... (or 7,800 feet for you limeys!) this must certainly be the highest altitude Toby has ever performed !

Toby Dammit officially switches to Aquarian Drum Heads

The word around tobydammit.com's office is that after an 18-year endorsement with Remo Toby has officially become an endorsee for AQUARIAN drumheads. Why the switch? Well, we admit we don't know that much about drumheads here at tobydammit.com, but Toby sure has a BIG grin playing his drums these days, and to us - they just SOUND GREAT! Even SUPERGRASS hired Toby to tune Dany Goffrey's drums for the recording of their new album "Diamond Hoo Ha" in Berlin!

Toby continues to be an active and vocal endorsee of SABIAN Cymbals (now for 20 years!) as well as an exclusive endorsee of VIC FIRTH mallets and drum sticks for the past 19 years. (Be sure to pick up one of his cool signiture sticks at Jessie Evans' merch table FOR FREE!) Toby has also held an 19-year endorsement with DW hardware.

In a time of record companies falling like flies all over the world, somehow our little Toby managed to make 2007 the most successful year of his recording career. Toby was featured on 6 album releases and 8 singles in 2007. Notably Rufus Wainwright's new album "Release The Stars" for Geffen debuted at the #2 chart position in the U.K and went Gold there by the end of the year. "Release The Stars" (which credits Toby as "Larry Mullins") is now the biggest selling album of Wainwright's career and nearly cracked the top 20 in the U.S.A. ... C'mon America!

Arno, the legendary Belgian singer's new album "Jus De Box" for EMI France went Gold in Belgium, and last but not least, Stephan Eicher's new album "Eldorado" for Universal France went platinum with the #1 album position for 2 weeks in Switzerland, as well as climbing to #5 in the French charts reaching Gold yet again.

"Eldorado" features Toby's production skills considerably, but the new Bee and Flower album "Last Sight Of Land" (produced by Toby) marked the first full band production by the new Berliner producer Herr Dammit. Also a unique performance on the new special.-edition Okkervil River album features Toby performing all the instruments with Will Sheff singing! If that isn't bizarre enough for you, check out the great track "Chunky Monkey" by the 12 year old singing sensation Allegra (produced by Bertrand Burgalat in Paris), which features Toby on the skins. Throw in the newest live compilation from Iggy Pop "Live Supreme" and add in the fact that Toby played 86 concerts in 2007 as well ..., let's just say 2007 was a busy year for the guy. Whether you know it or not, you probably heard him or saw him somewhere out there!

Luther & Toby track "Valhalla" featured on NPR's All Things considered

Luther & Toby's track "Valhalla" from Karny Sutra is being featured regularly on WNPR show favorite All Things Considered. Most recently on New York reporter Robert Smith's story "When the Elephants March in Manhattan."

Also previously on Minnesotan storyteller Kevin Kling's narration of "Curious George's Trip to Hell." And Jack Speer, with an incredibly appropriate sense of humour, connected the royal sounds of Karny Sutra to the sizzling hot PETA VS: Ringling Bros. lawsuit - also known as Elephantgate! A little "behind the scenes" research on this story proves maybe it's not "The Greatest Show on Earth" after all ... at least not for the Elephants!

Toby has two "unusual" duet albums out now.
First with an incredible organist / pianist named Luther Hawkins.
The album is called KARNY SUTRA.

Second with Thomas Wydler - drummer of Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds.
The album is called MORPHOSA HARMONIA.
